Everyday Strategies to Learn Something You’d Like to Learn

Event Information

🎯 Purpose of the Workshop

To help you understand how learning really works in the brain and to give you simple, everyday strategies to learn any skill more efficiently – at work, in study, or in personal life.

By the end of this 45-minutes session, you will feel more confident that you can learn challenging things and will leave with clear, practical tools you can start using the same.

🧠 What we will explore

  • How our beliefs and old-school habits get in the way
  • How to use deep focus and relaxed “background thinking” together to get unstuck
  • How to break down complex topics into small, reusable “chunks” of understanding
  • How to move past avoidance using 20-25 minutes focus blocks and short breaks.
  • Why we forget so much – and how to help ourselves remember
  • How to turn these ideas into a simple 7-day plan for a real skill or project

What you will gain – You will walk away with …

  • A clearer understanding of how your brain learns best
  • Practical tool you immediately can use, including a 7-day learning plan for a real goal (e.g. exam prep, a new tool at work, a language, or another skill)
  • Renewed confidence and motivation to take on new learning challenges.

👥 Who this workshop is for

The workshop is designed for adults who

  • Are learning new tools, systems, or responsibilities at work
  • Are returning to study or preparing for exams/certifications
  • Are changing careers or reskilling into a new field
  • Enjoy personal development and want to get more from books, courses, and trainings
  • Have ever said: “I’m just not a ____ person,” and are ready to approach learning differently

No prior knowledge is required – just curiosity and something you’d like to learn.
